Orders over $499 ship FREE (lower 48 states only).
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days of payment being received. For firearm orders, processing does not begin until both payment and a valid FFL have been received. Orders are processed Monday through Friday only — we do not ship on weekends or holidays.
You will receive a tracking confirmation email once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after receiving your notification. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder.
Shipping Methods
Ammunition & Non-Firearm Items
- Shipped via UPS Ground to the lower 48 states only.
- We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO addresses, or P.O. Boxes.
Firearms
- Handguns ship via UPS 2nd Day Air.
- Long guns ship via UPS Ground.
- All firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer for transfer. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact their dealer before ordering to confirm they will accept the shipment.
- Firearm deliveries may require an adult signature upon delivery.
- If an FFL dealer refuses delivery, the buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs.
Important -- FFL License Requirement: It is the customer's responsibility to have their FFL dealer email a copy of their license to [email protected] before the order can be processed. We will not contact dealers on your behalf. Orders will not ship until a valid FFL is on file. If you have not arranged for your dealer to send their license, please do so promptly to avoid delays.
State-Specific Restrictions
Certain states have laws that restrict or regulate the shipment of ammunition and firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know and comply with the laws of their state. We reserve the right to cancel any order that cannot be legally fulfilled to the buyer's location.

California -- Additional Details
Semiautomatic Rifles: We do not ship semiautomatic rifles to the state of California.
Ammunition: All ammunition orders shipping to California must be sent to a licensed FFL dealer. We will not ship ammunition directly to California residents.
Excise Tax: BTL Supply does not collect California firearm excise tax. Per California law, this tax is the responsibility of the receiving FFL dealer and will be collected at the time of transfer.
Handgun Roster: California law requires that handguns sold to civilians be on the California Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale. It is solely the customer's responsibility to confirm with their local FFL dealer that any pistol they are ordering is on the California roster before placing an order. BTL Supply is not responsible for verifying roster eligibility on the customer's behalf.
⚠️ WARNING: Any handgun order that cannot be transferred because the pistol is not on the California roster will be subject to a 50% RESTOCKING FEE. This fee is non-negotiable. Please verify roster status with your dealer BEFORE placing your order.
States Requiring a FID or FOID Card for Ammunition Purchases
If your state requires a Firearms Identification Card (FID) or Firearm Owner's Identification Card (FOID) to purchase ammunition, please visit our Contact Us page, upload a copy of your card, and reference your order number in the message so we can process your order correctly. Orders requiring license verification will not ship until a valid card has been received and confirmed.
Package Weight & Split Shipments
UPS has a 45 lb per package weight limit. Orders exceeding this limit will be split into multiple packages. Please note that if your order is shipping to an FFL dealer, split shipments may result in additional transfer fees charged by the receiving dealer.
Order Cancellations & Restocking Fees
- Orders may be cancelled within 3 hours of purchase, provided processing has not yet begun.
- Once an order has begun processing, been shipped, or is refused upon delivery, a 20% restocking fee applies.
- Packages refused at delivery, returned due to an incorrect address, or not picked up from an FFL dealer are subject to the same 20% restocking fee.
Address Corrections
- Shipping address errors can be corrected at no charge before your order ships.
- Address corrections requested after shipment are subject to a per-package correction fee charged by the carrier.
Returns
Firearms and ammunition: All sales are final. Due to legal and safety regulations, firearms and ammunition cannot be returned.
Accessories and non-firearm items: Return eligibility varies by item. Please contact us before returning any item.
Defective Products: BTL Supply does not warranty any products and does not offer refunds for defective merchandise. All defective products must be returned directly to the original manufacturer for warranty service. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the manufacturer and follow their warranty process. BTL Supply will not facilitate, process, or cover any costs associated with manufacturer warranty claims.
Law Enforcement Trade-In & Used Products: All law enforcement trade-in and LE surplus products are sold strictly as-is, with no warranty and no returns. These are previously issued firearms and equipment that have been carried, used, and/or stored by law enforcement agencies prior to being made available for sale. While we make every effort to accurately describe the condition of each item, all sales are final. By purchasing an LE trade-in or surplus item, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the used nature of the product.
Shipping Insurance & Damage Claims
Shipping insurance is available to cover lost or damaged merchandise. Please note that only damaged product itself is eligible for a claim — superficial damage to outer packaging does not qualify.

Purchasing firearms and ammunition online at BTL Supply is fast and convenient. For most customers, your order will ship directly to your door or your chosen FFL dealer within 1-2 business days. However, certain states have laws that restrict or regulate ammunition and firearm shipments. Please review the table below before placing your order.
It is the customer's responsibility to know and comply with all local, state, and federal laws. BTL Supply reserves the right to cancel any order that cannot be legally fulfilled to the buyer's location.

Orders requiring verification will not ship until valid documentation has been received and confirmed.
